My heart goes out to all of those affected by the wildfires. For Larimer County shelter assistance and emergency alerts and updates please see below.

Shelter Assistance:

Shelter assistance for those in evacuation areas is available from the Red Cross (1-800-417-0495 ext. 1).
Small animal shelter is available via the Larimer Humane Society, call 970-226-3647 ext. 7 (companion animals and barnyard animals up to the size of sheep/goats).
Large animal shelter or evacuation assistance is available via the LCSO Posse, call 970-498-5359 if you need help.

·        Cameron Peak Fire - Text the word LCEVAC to 888777 to receive text message alerts about evacuations, road closures, credentialing, and other important updates.

·        Mullen Fire - Text the word MULLEN to 888777 to receive text message alerts about evacuations, road closures, credentialing, and other important updates regarding the area of Larimer County impacted by the Mullen fire.      

·        East Troublesome Fire (affecting Estes Park & RMNP) - Text the word TFIRE to 888777 to receive text message alerts about evacuation, road closures, etc. regarding the area of Larimer County impacted by the East Troublesome Fire.
